• What is affiliate marketing?

  It is a form of marketing where a business (Merchant) rewards an affiliate for each customer referred to them as a result of the individual affiliates marketing efforts.

• What is an affiliate?

  Generally, a website owner who promotes a Merchant’s (e.g. Easyspace.com) products or services (e.g. domain names, web hosting, etc) in return for a commission payment once a sale has been generated. Examples include discount voucher sites or price comparisons sites, etc.

• What is an affiliate program? How does it work?

  An affiliate program is a revenue sharing program where an affiliate (you) earn commissions by referring customers to a Merchants website (e.g. easyspace.com).

• What is an affiliate network?

  A company that acts as a trusted 3rd party, between a Merchant (e.g. Easyspace.com) and affiliates (you). They provide tracking software to both Merchants & Affiliates, so that both parties can in confidence monitor sales, clicks, banner impressions, commission earned, etc.

• What is Commission Junction?

  Commission Junction (CJ) is an affiliate network. They are a trusted third party, who provide Easyspace.com affiliates with a user friendly interface (affiliate control panel), from which affiliates can track their sales, banner impressions, commissions, etc. CJ also processes payments from Easyspace.com to our affiliates.

• What is the Easyspace.com affiliate program?

  The Easyspace.com affiliate program is a way for you to earn money by referring customers to Easyspace.com.

• How does the Easyspace.com affiliate program work?

  Once you have joined our affiliate program, you can access lots of professionally designed banners and text links – which are unique to you. You can place an Easyspace affiliate banner or text link on your website, blog, etc, so that your site visitors know about our products.

  Every Easyspace.com affiliate link on your website will contain a unique Source ID, which tells Easyspace that your website was responsible for referring the sale. You must use your Easyspace affiliate links supplied by either Commission Junction or our Easyspace In-house affiliate program, otherwise we won’t be able to track the sales back to you.

  If somebody clicks on your link, goes through to the Easyspace.com website and purchases something from us e.g. a domain name or web hosting, etc, then you will earn a commission payment for this, which is automatically credited to your affiliate account.

• Why should I become an affiliate with Easyspace?

  It’s easy and it’s FREE. It helps you earn money from your website. It costs you nothing to try being an affiliate.

• How do I join the Easyspace affiliate program?

  You can become an affiliate of Easyspace by joining our third party affiliate network, Commission Junction.

• Does it cost me anything to become your affiliate?

  It is FREE to join the Easy.com affiliate program. Once your application to join the Easyspace affiliate program is accepted, then you can start promoting us immediately.

• How do I keep track of my commissions & the sales I help generate?

  Once you have signed up as an affiliate with Easyspace either via the affiliate network Commission Junction (CJ) or the Easyspace In-house Affiliate Program, you will be able to login to your own private “affiliate control panel”. You will then have access to a range of real-time sales reports showing you exactly how much commission you have earned each day. You will also be able to view reports showing how many people clicked on your affiliate banners/text links, sales generated and much more.

• If someone I refer places their order later (X days later), will that order still track back to me?

  The Easyspace affiliate program has a 60 day “cookie” length. This means you can earn commission for any customer you refer to us within a 60 day period, from the time they last clicked on an affiliate link. Please note that if a visitor clicks on an affiliate link belonging to a different affiliate, then their link will replace your one and therefore be awarded any commission made from a resulting sale. Last affiliate link click wins.

• How much can I earn?

  As an Affiliate you earn a percentage of each valid sale you help generate, after a customer clicks on an Easyspace affiliate banner/link on your website. The percentage you can earn will depend on the type of product/service purchased (See table above)

• How are my commissions paid?

  If you become an Easyspace affiliate by joining our In-house affiliate program, then you will be paid monthly direct to your bank account, for commissions earned on all validated sales. If you join as an affiliate via Commission Junction (CJ), they will send payment to you e.g. by cheque or direct to your bank account. You should receive your CJ affiliate payment for approved sales that you helped generate approx. every 4-6 weeks.

• What happens if a customer cancels and order?

  When a customer cancels their order we void the sale on our system. This results in your commission for that particular sale being voided too. Fortunately, this rarely happens.

• Are there any products where I will not earn commission?

  You will not earn commission on the following products/services: Web design services and Reseller hosting packages

• Are websites outside the UK eligible to become your affiliates?

  Yes, you can operate as many websites as you want. All we ask is that you list these websites in your affiliate control panel.

• I operate more than one website. Can I still join this affiliate program?

  Yes, you can operate as many websites as you want. All we ask is that you list these in your Commission Junction affiliate account.

• Is my site eligible to join the Easyspace affiliate program?

  Everyone is welcome to apply to become an affiliate with easyspace, from large corporate websites, personal blogs, price comparison, content site, voucher code site, etc. We also welcome affiliates who run opt in email newsletters. Most websites with content relevant to Easyspace products & services e.g. domain names, web hosting, business IT requirements, web design, etc will be accepted. We manually check every website, and we reserve the right to refuse any application.

• What are my responsibilities as an Easyspace affiliate?

  All you need to do is add affiliate links to Easyspace.co on your website(s), keep any information you have about our product/services up to date on your website(s) and make sure you always comply with either our Easyspace.com In-house affiliate program affiliate Terms & Conditions or the Commission Junction affiliate Terms & Conditions – depending which one you joined under.

• Premium domains
