Protect Your Domains
At Internetters, we take security seriously. As an ICANN-accredited registrar, we are all too aware of the problems our customers face when trying to keep their domain names safe from hijack or misuse.
We've come up with some tips for domain registrants to help keep their domains secure:
Have you checked the status of your domain?
Did you know you can check the status of your domain at any time? By performing a quick domain check-up, you can ensure that you are safe from any unwanted transfer requests.
- Is my domain locked - i.e. status 'REGISTRAR-LOCK'?
- Is my admin contact email address up to date?
- Are my name and address details correct?
Is your domain locked?
It is now possible to lock your domain against all transfer or modification requests from third parties. Internetters lock all new domain registrations as a matter of course to safeguard you against domain hijacking.

Is my brand protected?
Unscrupulous cyber squatters have been known to register variations on domain names in the hope of either having the actual companies pay top dollar for these or gaining revenue from passing traffic. Protect yourself by registering variations on your name in top level and country code domains. Protect your personal details
For most common domain extensions, you can now protect your details by using our Whois Privacy service. Visit our Whois Privacy section for more information >>
